Time for the UK Public to speak?

With the rest of the World laughing at the antics of the British Government, and our subjects paying a huge price for economic chaos, it is fair to ask for a change.

It is not enough for these Conservative Clowns to ditch the present PM, and “appoint” another, or have some supposedly democratic process between Tory MPs and ossified party members.

We need to have an election to give everyone a say in who runs the show, however there is no way just anyone can do this. The “current lot” must request Charlie to dissolve parliament, so we all get a vote. It is worth everyone registering their desire for this course as there is already a petition up for debate in parliament.

Why do Girls have all the colours ?

I was watching the Euros 22 on BBC the other night and can’t help but be struck by the fabulous colours the commentators were wearing, particularly of the “suits”

What I want to know is why “blokes” seem to have a choice of any colour as long as it is virtually black! (OK maybe grey or dark blue).

A little better, but still no plain colours other than sheer boredom…

I get that fashion for men, (if it still exists) has been taken over by dark grey and black, and not featuring suits outside proms, Weddings and Funerals (See you need a black suit!), but come on we are not Model T’s, and it seems girls can have light bright cool suits but not blokes?

BrickBats & Bouquets & MORE Brickbats

Brickbats, Bouquets & Brickbats – New from mid 2022, in the era of Covid and its aftermath we have found less to blog about, we have certainly eaten and drunk out less and at fewer places, but we have become more aware of Customer Relations showing in general a decline, particularly from larger (multiple), businesses, but smaller ones too. There seems to be some sort of “we have had these years of hardship, so now we have to cut back, charge more, open less and care less”.

This is particularly true of the Airline and Travel industries, who have cut back on services, sacked droves of staff, many of whom have returned to homes overseas, so now post Brexit are not available to return. Similar issues affect even Supermarkets, where a lack of hauliers and the war against Russian evil, mean that many products are erratic or unavailable and this is often used as an excuse to shunt up prices. We are going to name (and shame) the examples we feel are doing these sort of things, and will happily apologise if any are able to adequately explain what we perceive as poor service of shysterism.

At the same time, we really want to offer recognition to those few examples we do find where businesses are going over and above in the line of helping their customers and society in general, so we will be handing out some Bouquets as well

Did You vote for this man to be your MP in 2019?

If so we hope you are now thoroughly shamed by his actions on your behalf, ( I think it goes without saying that those of us who didn’t vote for him certainly wish to disassociate ourselves)

In spite of stating in Parliament that he was quite prepared to vote against his party when they were wrong he still voted against continuance of free school meals through the holidays

The government shamed us all by refusing to allow needy children to continue to receive free meals, and try to weasel out by quoting that they have given “local councils” £63millon to cover local needs, I am unsure if this is the same £63 million we have seemingly been hearing about from last March but at slightly less than £1 per head of population it’ll have to be better than Christ’s two fish and five loaves, to solve all the hunger, rough sleeping, floods, pestilence, business closures it is meant to.
